Frisbie Youth Fishing Derby

Value Fishing is proud to sponsor the Frisbie Youth Fishing Derby, this annual event is held at Lake Eufaula State Park in Checotah, OK. The derby is named after a conservationist in Checotah that passed away several years ago. There is no charge to the kids for entering and trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in three age groups. Also a trophy for the biggest fish caught and a sportsmanship trophy. All contestants and their families get a free hot dog lunch. The derby is on Monday, September 1st at the Kid's Fish Out Pond.

Registration begins at 8:30 am and they fish until 10:30 or 11:00 (depends on how hot it is) then trophies and prizes.
